Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another press for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in the Microsoft Word, RTF, or OpenDocument file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 14-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Press.
  • Submit the manuscript with a Cover Letter following the provided template.

Author Guidelines

Manuscripts are accepted electronically.

The text must be typed in the Microsoft Word editor. Font Times New Roman 14 pt, single line spacing. The indent is 1.25 cm. All margins are 2 cm long. Align text to width. Without hyphenation. Landscape orientation is not allowed. All abbreviations and acronyms must be decrypted at first use.

Figures and photos are accepted in jpg, png, tif formats (with maximum quality, without compression). We recommend the PNG format, in general PNG provides the best quality/file size.

Minimum image size: 300 x 300 px (dots, pixels). Maximum: 1000 x 1000 px.

Maximum size of one file: 15 MB.

The inscriptions and other symbols on the graphs and figures should be clear and easy to read.

Images, photorealistic images, diagrams, drawings, figures that have been generated by artificial intelligence should be labeled "Imagined with AI".

Tables are executed in the built-in spreadsheet editor Microsoft Word. 

All figures and tables should be numbered sequentially. Numbering of figures and tables is carried out separately. The text of the manuscript must contain links to tables and figures.
